A6082 extruded aluminum alloy square bar is a heat-treated and strengthening alloy, which has good formability, weldability, machinability and corrosion resistance, medium strength and good operability after annealing. It is mainly used in mechanical structure. This alloy has similar but not identical mechanical properties with 6061 alloy, and its T6 state has higher mechanical properties. 6082 alloy usually has good processing properties and good anode reaction properties.

A6082 extruded aluminum alloy square bar production and manufacturing process
1. A6082 extruded aluminum alloy square bar smelting
6082 alloy is characterized by Mn, Mn is refractory metal, melting temperature should be controlled at 740-760 ℃. Stir evenly for more than two times before sampling to ensure complete melting of metal, accurate temperature and even composition. After mixing, take one sample from the middle of the aluminum liquid depth and left and right sides of the furnace respectively for analysis, and the converter can be started after the analysis is qualified.
2. A6082 extruded aluminum alloy square bar purification and casting
After the melt is transferred into a standing furnace, nitrogen and refining agent are used for powder spraying and air jet refining. The refining temperature is 735-745 ℃, the time is 15 minutes, and the melt is standing for 30 minutes after refining. Through this process, degassing, slag removal and melt purification are carried out. During casting, there are two filter devices between the mold and the furnace. The furnace has a foam ceramic filter plate (30PPI) to filter. Before casting, 14 mesh glass cloth is used to filter the oxide and slag in the melt.
The casting temperature of A6082 extruded aluminum alloy square bar is higher (compared with the normal process of 6063 aluminum square bar), the casting speed is lower, and the water flow rate is larger. The above process should be strictly controlled and should not exceed the scope, otherwise it is easy to lead to casting failure.
