It is an alloy that has been used for a long time and is widely used.High strength, good effect of heat treatment, medium plasticity in annealing and new quenching;Different from duralumin, the corrosion resistance of artificial aging state is better than that of natural aging state, and the natural aging process is slow, it takes 3 months to reach the peak of aging hardening, so 7A04 is used in the state of quenching artificial aging.Its disadvantages are low stability, low fatigue strength and stress corrosion.The spot welding of the alloy is good, the gas welding is bad, the machinability after heat treatment is good, but the machinability after annealing is not good.
