7050 is a high strength heat-treated alloy, which has extremely high strength, spalling corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance. Zinc is the main alloy element of 7050series aluminium alloy. Adding magnesium to the alloy containing 3%-75% zinc can form MgZn2 with remarkable strengthening effect. The heat treatment effect of this alloy is much better than that of Al-Zn binary alloy. Increasing the content of zinc and magnesium in the alloy will further improve the tensile hardness, but its resistance to stress corrosion and exfoliation corrosion will be improved. After heat treatment, it can achieve very high strength characteristics. In this system, a small amount of copper-chromium alloys are usually added. In this system, 7050 T7451 aluminium alloy is regarded as the best product of aluminium alloy, and its strength is much higher than that of soft steel. This alloy has good mechanical properties and anodic reaction. It is mainly used in aviation and navigation. Die processing, machinery and equipment, fixtures and fixtures, especially for aircraft manufacturing structures and other high stress structures requiring high strength and corrosion resistance.
